The importance of the volunteers to the organization
One of the truly remarkable things about faith-based organizations is that they cannot exist without volunteers. This is true for Cleansing Stream Ministries. Well trained volunteers are an integral part of our team. Our volunteers are highly motivated and the program gives them the opportunity to have a significant impact on the lives of those attending the course. In fact, our large team of volunteers provide constant feed back on how their lives are changed as they serve in this ministry.

We currently have opportunities in the following areas to get involved
on a volunteer basis:

Intercessors:
Throughout the retreat intercessors are praying for the course participants and ministry team members.
The criteria for ministering in this area is:
Have attended at least one Retreat
Attend the training session on the afternoon before the Retreat begins
Have endorsement from their Pastor
Have a genuine love and concern for helping others and an active prayer life
$20 charge applies to those attending the training for the first time

Anointers:
During the Retreat we have a number of people praying with the Course participants; these people are called anointers. After a subject at the Retreat is taught, Course participants are invited to the front for ministry. The anointers lead them through prayers of repentance, renouncing and breaking bondages as well as anointing them with oil. The anointer offers prayers of healing and deliverance and joy literally explodes as people, long held captive, are restored, set free and healed by the Holy Spirit.
The criteria for ministering in this area is:
Have a genuine love and concern for helping others and an active prayer life
Have endorsement from their Pastor
Have attended at least one Retreat
Have ministered as an intercessor at a previous retreat
Have previous experience praying and ministering to people one on one

Administration:
Running Retreats, providing materials to churches nationwide and ensuring people
are in the right place at the right time relies on excellent administrative and logistical
support. If you are experienced in this area, have good phone and computer skills
combined with a passion for the Cleansing Stream Ministries we’d love to hear from you.

Marketing:
Thousands of New Zealanders have attended the Cleansing Stream Course. Much of the growth to date has occurred with limited pro-active marketing effort. This tells us that a focused marketing effort which is currently under planning and development is likely to stimulate significant growth. If you have experience in database management, campaign creation and management, or channel partner support activities your skills could be used to assist in changing thousands of lives.

Accounting:
Sound financial management for the Cleansing Stream Ministry involves activities
ranging from simple data entry to finalisation of monthly accounts and reporting through
the use of the MYOB software. We have a requirement for support in these areas.

Prayer Support:
Prayer is essential to the development of Cleansing Stream Ministries in New Zealand.
We need people who will consistently partner with us in praying for Cleansing Stream,
those who lead the ministry, Cleansing Stream Ministry team, course participants,
growth and ongoing favour as we look to partner with more local churches.

Pre-requisites for those wishing to become involved include a face to face interview with one of our Cleansing Stream staff, provision of a reference from your local church leader and the provision of a description of your skills and experience in order to assess a potential fit for the role.
